The Skeleton Coast is an expressive resin painting depicting a ghost ship sailing on a wild and treacherous sea. There are thousands of shipwrecks along the Skeleton Coast in Namibia, and the name was coined for the book entitled Skeleton Coast by Henry Marsh which chronicles the demise of the Dunedin Star, an Australian meat export ship. Humanity is fragile and our relationship with the sea is often catastrophic. Many ghost shipwrecks travel the sea as testament to the power of the Sea.
