“My artistic style is inspired by noir classic films from the 1940’s - 1960’s, and even into the 1980’s. I adore the mysterious and moody atmosphere of those movies. I mainly shoot when it's dark, raining, or foggy and preferably while I’m traveling. I find it exciting to be confronted with a mystery, and that is why I rarely stage a photograph. These images are simply a visual diary that exists within my camera and is never even posted to social media. My pieces are snapshots of my true personal life, and I invite the viewer to fill in the gaps with their imagination, of what they see and what they do not see. The buyer is purchasing a moment of my life that is only printed once.”
