This majestic rock formation straddles the Wyoming/Colorado border south of Laramie. Wyoming folk call it Camel Rock, for its distinct camel shape seen from the Wyoming county road that passes to the west of the formation. Colorado folk call it Castle Rock, as seen from this view, where the formation takes on a more castle shape as viewed from the south side across the border in Colorado. Same unmoving monolith, two very different perspectives.
