Excited about this little piece... really like the energy even though small

First piece where I feel a shift in my process just starting to happen:
–I’m going back and forth much more quickly between the small detailed marks that I want and the larger brushwork and especially painting over anything immediately if feels too linear or more structured than I want; and secondly
–I’m using my photo reference for ideas for line directions and light only and trying to build the paintings more organically with a feeling of layered depth, rather than using my photo reference as a starting point for composition and ideas that end up having some illusionistic depth that I end up mostly painting over
