I was born and raised in Nashville, TN and have a strong connection to the rolling hills and the lovely old homes there. In "A Modern View of Nashville" I used some pages from the book, Architecture of Middle Tennessee. It's a book full of beautiful black and white pictures of Antebellum homes. I created a series of monoprints that showed bits of some historic architecture from the area. Then, cut them into triangles and reassembled them for a modern look with some interesting optical illusions.
