"Fly 4" is a contemporary mixed media piece on panel by Anke. The piece shows flies that you would use for fly fishing splayed in a circle. The stark white background enables the vivid stripes and colors of the feathers on the fly to glow. The arrangement of the flies invokes a mandala, transforming the hooks and feathers into a meditative state.
