Part of my new Pastel series.This atmospheric, heightened colour scene, was made after a frosty walk near my local park in winter. The composition appealed to me and the pastel worked well to describe the delicate lines and shapes of the bare hedgerows and textures of the ground. To describe the beautiful light at sunset, I've exaggerated the pinky background laid over the creamy colour fix pastel ground.
