Maria Boord is a self-taught artist whose work is inspired by capturing rich moments of magic in the present while being influenced by her wonderful childhood. She is located in Boothbay Harbor, Maine where she paints and displays her work in her studio and gallery. Maria has always enjoyed creating with her hands—which translated into oil painting in 2007. “Taking in a golden moment that makes my heart swell and then slowly recreating it with bits of oil and pigment. It slowly comes through my eyes, heart, hands, it becomes me.”
