Michael Sharinksi was born in Russia in 1957 and studied at the Kremlin Art Academy. In 1977, he immigrated to Israel, where he furthered his art study at the Bazelel Academy of Art, in Jerusalem. He now lives and paints in the ancient port city of Jaffa.
