Maria Zielinska (a.k.a. Marysia Burr) was born in 1956 in the southern Polish city of Wadowice. Maria began her study of art at the Bielsko-Biala High School of Fine Arts, from which she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Many of her paintings have been exhibited at the most prestigious galleries throughout Europe and the U.S. Her limited edition works have been published in Los Angeles by Collectors Editions, in Seattle by Winn-Devon and Grand Image, in Arizona by Phoenix Art Press, as well as Marco Fine Arts of California and in New York by Bentley Publishing.
