reconstructed from two found oak chairs circa 1920. Typical of school or library chairs of that era. The chairs are covered in card stock date slips used to check out books and music from the Athenaeum. Dated from the early 1970's to late 1990's. Now part of the permanent collection of the La Jolla Athenaeum
