Sleeper no. 6 , is the sixth painting in Daphne Cote's series of paintings in which she depicts men laying in bed as part of a landscape of comfort. Daphne's goal was to capture masculine vulnerability as well as looking from the female artist's point of view of men in a domestic setting, Daphne plays with this role reversal taking the traditional setting of peering on women lounging painted by male artists to placing the viewer within the scene next to the male model lounging painted by a female artist.
