This painting was done from a still life in Daphne's studio where she filmed it's creation from start to finish.

I loved the flowers on my front porch, so I brought them
inside and created a still life. I worked on them quickly,
knowing that flowers change quite quickly overtime and that
they would look dierent the next day. The flowers didn’t like
being in my studio without sunlight and were starting to get
sad after 4 hours. I typically paint for 1 to 2 hours before
taking a break where I get up and make tea, change over
laundry, prep supper, or go for a walk.
