cutting into my 10 yards of cotton rag paper

Arches 300gsm hot press watercolour paper

It is quite an ordeal to cut this thick heavy precious paper, I have to not kink it so no marks of any sorts and then decide of the best size for my future artworks. I have decide to make them smaller so it will be more easy to sell because it will be more affordable and less costly for framing as well. Marking the size then applying water to get ready to fold using the ruler to fold on the line and straight. Then wet out side inside the fold and use the ruler to fray cut the paper so it can be framed in a floating manner on a board of 3cm to place the art work on another board in an thinker frame structure so the artwork acquires so depth and float in the frame.

Not being selfish is a big thing for me because when I create it is all about my message and I like to work big. I usually forget about the viewer I just imagine my artwork on big large wall but this time I am being more considerate to the viewer and more economically inclined as I am running this fund raising.
