AIMLESS WANDERING • 60” x 48” Acrylic on canvas

If you wander in a place, you walk around there in a casual way, often without intending to go in any particular direction.
A great many of my paintings start with random lines and colors. No particular direction or destination in mind.
What emerges out of the randomness is as surprising to me as it is inspiring. It is my favorite way to paint.
To wander across a canvas, same as walking this life is ‘trusting the journey, even when I don’t know the roads.’
