- From The Coming Wave
The Coming Wave is a painting of warning of the coming apocalyse of Climate Change. The experimental work originally created in a mixed media of epoxy resins and fluid acrylics incorporates several of the artist's regular underlying themes and techniques of fluid and wave energy in motion. While the experimental mixing of multiple mediums made the original work unsatisfactory to the artist's standards, the subsequent digital photography and completion of the work in the digital realm makes the work accessable and available in a limited edition of high resolution 7 color archival giclee prints on canvas created by the artist on order in his studio atellier.
The work depicts the Washington Monument in DC under a cresting Tsunami wave allegorically drowning the political inaction in Washington in addressing the worsening climate disaster that is inevitable without rapid action.
Each 18x24 archival giclee will be created entirely within the artist's atellier in Austin, Tx by the artist personally when each order is placed. Printed on acid free, heavy duty watercolor/printing paper in 7 colors on a high resolution, state of the art, Canon Pro2000 fine arts printer.
