One of our "go-to" places to paint is at the Darling's Island Bridge in Nauwigewauk. Not only is there a lovely covered bridge, but some interesting intersections of water. We would often see kayakers but not this time of year.
I wanted to capture the beautiful warm red tones of the shrubs and trees on the far shore and the still unfrozen water that bore a hint of ice on top.
