I admid, I have a strong fondness for these old metal fences. Family owned farms are disappearing but remnants give evidence of their past. This particular farm was a favourite for so many. Once the spring freshet subsided, the farmer would let his livestock feed on the low lying pasture. It was a familiar scene as we would pass by. The farmer has gone and the barn is now collapsed. But my memories remain strong.
