To get the image for this painting, I climbed down an extremely steep, rocky hillside but it was well worth it. I was able to catch the motion of the water as it hit the rocky shore. The colours of the Bay of Fundy varies but this day, it was my favourite teal colour.
I used cold wax as a medium to create a rougher texture to mimic the rocks.
