The inspiration for this body of work was a picture of my shadow pushing my twin's stroller.

"Stoller-o-ptera" is an autoschediastic word pursuant to Lepidoptera an order of insects that include butterflies. The notion of transformation is inherent to butterflies. In these pieces the paper, through the process of paper cutting is being transformed to a lace like surface.
