Reflections of Reality
In "Reflections of Reality," I seek to capture the duality between the tangible and its reflected image, exploring how the water element can transform our perception of reality. The work focuses on the interaction between the physical world and its reflection in the water. Reflections not only reproduce reality, but also distort it, creating a second reality that coexists with the first one. This visual duality leads us to question what is real and what is an illusion, inviting us to look beyond the superficial and explore nature and our connection to the world around us. I also take a unique approach by deconstructing traditional photography, perceived as a flat representation, to construct a new three-dimensional space by highlighting fragmented parts and re-inscribing them as overlapping planes. In this way, I create an atmosphere that can be perceived from different perspectives and invites action to recompose the original lines and volumes into a new order.
