Artist Statement:

"My art provides an opportunity to create pieces representing my Native American cultural knowledge to share with others. Art allows an opportunity to discuss challenging topics such as orientation, health issues, loss, recovery, renewal, and healing. Frequently, I am invited to share educational presentations on these topics. Secondly, my art provides a venue to allow discourse of differences in values and beliefs that may not otherwise be address."
