Artist Statement:

"The body as a fertile field. Matrix. Physicality, dimensionality, creativity, sensuality, productivity, musicality, asymmetry, disharmony. Time. The female body. To body forth.

To be at home in one’s body or to be at war with one’s body. It’s a female thing.

I like the imperfections, the unsvelte. Used and disused vessels of experience. I like the music lighting up the body, the ecstatic.

I like the seductive veil of experience through which my subjects peer.
I call it womanist art."
