Artist Statement:

"In these collages I use my drawings from the dance and found images. The drawings capture flashes of grace and nuance and deliberate force of movement in various media. The found images are very edited. The original context of these collage elements have been obscured. What remains is the color, form, line and texture. The collage choices are considered and specific, respecting the scale and movement of the drawings. The elements, retaining hints of their original purpose or intention, are now in a dialog echoing through the visual space."
