Jane Dodge is a fiber artist who uses textiles in her current work to comment on social issues. Her work incorporates applique, embroidery, machine piecing and quilting, text, and hand-dyed fabrics. Currently she is working on a series that celebrates women from all cultures, colors and creeds, often forgotten, hidden, denigrated, and marginalized who have been the (unsung) heroes of the American story.
