Artist Statement: My love affair with clay began at school in England, the passion was not rekindled until I moved to Virginia Beach 13 years ago. I found a community of artists at MOCA, where I created art to hang on the walls of my new home. I have attended ceramic workshops and conferences taught by world-famous ceramic artists, gaining valuable knowledge, techniques and inspiration. This year my work is being featured in The World of Interiors and House and Garden magazines, an international exhibition - True Beauty, and more locally at the VB Arts Center.
