Artist Statement: "Nature, with all its beauty and variety inspires me to celebrate its beauty. All of my clay work is created using hand-building methods. Working with slabs and modeled clay offers tremendous flexibility. I enjoy the unlimited shapes and forms this process offers. I love working with nature and texture, often creating works that incorporate imprints of actual plants or adding sculpted flora, fauna and textures that is all around us."
