Flourish: A National Juried Exhibition Featuring Floral and Botanical Artworks

Artist Statement: "My passion for gardening is reflected in the art I create. Spring is a special time of the year filled with hope and joy. Trees have been the subject of several of my drawings and paintings. Flowers both real and invented find their way onto my canvases amidst the varied drips and brushstrokes. I focus on creating work that is exuberant, energetic, colorful and exciting. There is a great similarity between the way I plan my paintings and my garden, thoughtfully, yet willing to experiment with new materials in both cases."
