Dynamic: d'Art's First Annual Open Medium Contemporary Arts Exhibition during NFK NEON Fest
- October 16, 2021 - November 07, 2021
The 6th Annual NEON Festival returned to Norfolk Thursday, October 21 and Friday, October 22, 2021! Presented by Business Consortium for Arts Support and Old Dominion University, this free festival welcomed everyone to experience the NEON District through art exhibitions, local and national performances, mural tours and programming unique to Norfolk's first arts neighborhood. Previous festivals at the d’Art Center have brought over 400 patrons through our doors for the festival, and this year we are in our BRAND NEW more centralized location in The NEON District!
Dynamic was d’Art Center’s first annual contemporary arts showcase exhibition from artists across the country. Dynamic features artworks produced only within the last 2 years (January 2020 - September 2021), and is an opportunity for artists to showcase their current style, aesthetic, bodies of work, and signature styles regardless of artwork theme, medium, and content (like the requirements of a themed exhibition) during Norfolk’s Annual NEON Festival!
