Artist Statement: "Through the use of acrylic paint on canvas, repeating patterns, mark-making, texture, & collage, I try to visually inspire, encourage or empower others from my own personal experiences as an avid gardener & concern for our environment.

My use of repeating patterns & shapes is a result of my earlier history of sewing with fabric in my youth. I transferred that knowledge gained from fabric into my passion for painting.

I hope that my floral paintings not only delight visually but serves as a reminder to do our part for the environment."
