Part of my Dancing Ladies collection, this piece celebrates the unity Mark and I have shared throughout our marriage. During its creation, the original base didn’t survive the kiln, though the top emerged beautifully—too beautiful to abandon. Mark suggested we honor it rather than discard it, and he crafted the metal stand that now completes the form.
That collaboration became its deeper meaning. Just as his creation supports my artwork, Mark supports me. His steady encouragement has allowed me to grow into the artist I am today. This sculpture is a tribute to the strength often born from partnership—that a woman stands taller, steadier, and more confidently when she is supported with love from anther.
