UNFRAMED (gallery stretched)The pair of wolves are justified to the left side of the canvas to emphasize their unity and the great divide between them and their landscape. One looks ahead while the other ponders both past and present; the “twilight” being that bit of magic in between sunset and sunrise. The Canadian timber wolf is the largest subspecies of wolf, living and hunting in packs of up to ten or 12 members in the wild.
