"Roll Up" glass pieces are an interesting process to create, involving at least three separate glass-making processes combined. First, creation of a glass plate design, kiln firing it to make the roll-up plate. The plate is then brought to the hot shop, shaped, and blown into the vessel's final form. This piece was then cold-worked, sanding it to shape, sandblasting design, and polishing.
