"Nested within the Italian Dolomites, Pragser Wildsee (or Lago di Braies) is a lake renowned for its glassy surface and breathtaking surroundings. Earlier that day, my friends and I had hiked the Seceda ridgeline, and we decided to pay this lake a visit during sunset.

As we walked the shoreline, the emerald-blue scene suddenly hushed our enthusiastic chatter. For a moment, as we gazed around, the tumult of our trip’s logistics vanished. It felt as if the amber sun, verdant foliage, crisp air, imposing mountain range, and the clear water had worked in tandem to quiet my heart and attune me to God’s creation."
