Walter Landon Chappell (1925 – 2000) was a prominent American photographer of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. He is known for his provocative work with nudes and landscapes as well as his later fascination with the American Southwest. He was awarded the National Endowment for the Arts Photographer's Fellowship three times throughout his career. (Joseph Bellows Gallery)
