"My images are somewhere between still life and abstract. They seem to be painterly in execution, but all originate as highly detailed, sharply focused photographs.

I utilize the shapes, colors, and textures that are found all around in alleys and streets. In a deliberate attempt to bridge the influences of abstract and dada movements.

Compressing both the fore and backgrounds, enhancing the colors and textures of the original image by way of digital post processing is my attempt to balance the photograph with painting onto a metaphoric digital canvas. "
