A color photograph of a parking lot scene with several vehicles. The photograph was captured by using a reflection from an uneven and warped surface which caused the entire scene to reflect the material.
I recently returned to Winnipeg after living near Long Island Sound for 8 years. Winnipeg is very different, colder, landlocked, flat. I am most impressed by the visual subtlties in the texture of things and the flow of the way things move. I use water color crayon and oil crayon with graphite on paper as my principle media. I also make drawings with a digital drawing application on my tablet.
I am a self-taught artist, owing everything to my high school art teacher, Allen Evry of Wheaton High School in Maryland.
