R. Willard Dean was born Sept. 21, 1918, New York City and died November 14, 2009 in Lakewood. Attended Wright Oral School, NYC, graduated Bolles Academy, Jacksonville, FL and Occidental College, Eagle Rock, CA. Employed as Research Chemist. Photography his life-long passion. Loved hiking, rock climbing, traveling, bicycling (Ride the Rockies). Life member of Sierra Club, Colo Mtn Club, Colo Photographic Arts Center.
