Shirley M. Hall was born on July 10, 1895, NY and went to study at the Otis Art Institute in Pasadena in the 1920s and early 1930s. He worked mostly in San Marino, CA during the 1940's until his death on February 9, 1971 in Los Angeles, CA where he settled.
