In “Sentinel of Higher Realms,” I invite you to experience a rare moment in the wild—a mountain lion poised in quiet command, bathed in the last light of day. This painting was born from a remarkable encounter: I had the privilege of observing and photographing a mountain lion in the mountains of Montana during a private session with a wildlife center. Witnessing this powerful creature move through its element—surrounded by untamed beauty—left a lasting impression that I’ve sought to capture in this work.
