This was a live painting I created at a St. Patty's day event at Alternity in Toronto it was called "Psychedelic Celtic" and was hosted by a musician friend of mine. I use neon paints and black lights to illuminate the elemental creatures, some that came forward in the process of painting the piece itself. Tapping into my Irish/ Celtic roots I gathered inspiration from some of the zoomorphic interlace patterns and Celtic knots that always fascinated me in the ancient art of the Celtic period.
