In Woven Waters, I explore the connection between Tijuana and San Diego by merging their coastal landscapes into a unified artwork. My piece features painted aerial views of the sands and ocean: one from Imperial Beach and the other from Tijuana. By slicing the Imperial Beach painting horizontally and the Tijuana painting vertically, I wove them together to emphasize our shared water and land. This work honors these neighboring cities, their interconnected environments, and our collective dedication to their well-being. I am an artist, photographer, designer, and art educator in Coronado.
