This painting was inspired by a true story of my life experience from my childhood. Born in Algeria, North Africa, a country with three different religions – Christians, Jews and Muslim living in harmony, i.e. in school three friends…Mohammed, David and myself. Students were mixed, playing together with no prejudice. Happy, free, innocent children. At 9 years old, the civil war was declared, everything changed. David went to Israel, Mohammed didn’t talk to me. Three beautiful innocent happy kids but the adult world destroyed us. I wrote a book from those memories “My Child Speaks Through Me”. A children's book for adults. My inner child cries to the adults why can’t we live happily together, helping each other to live in perfect harmony with an open mind/heart. I dream to see that before my last breath.
