Although the primary focus of Karrie Jackson's artwork is landscape painting, this print of a
digital painted portrait of Puma Fredy Quispe Singona celebrates our human connection to the
land. The reference for this artwork was a clip from an international Zoom class Karrie took from
Puma who resides in Peru. Karrie earned a BFA from California College of the Arts, San
Francisco, With Distinction; obtained a Masters of Education, Arts Curriculum & Instruction from
Lesley University; and Single Subject Teaching Credential in Visual Art from Point Loma
Nazarene College. For 11 years, Karrie has been teaching CoSA Visual Art.
