Artist: Jaime Camacho
Jaime Camacho, is an Artist and Architect with more than 40 years of experience and winner of several awards in Paris, Rome, Boston, Buenos Aires and Bogota. Jaime Camacho has settled here in California. He is a member of the San Diego Watercolor Society, Coronado Art Association, and founder of several Latin American artist organizations in Oakland, Boston, and Providence. He has been recognized for his contribution to art by the Mayor of Miami, the Governor and Senate of Rhode Island, and Mayor of Providence and the Colombian Consulate. He is the owner and founder of "SOL Gallery" in Coconut Grove in Florida, "Arte para Todos Galeria" in Buenos Aires, and "85 Arte Galeria" in Bogota. At La Jolla Art Festival, he won first place in Watercolor and recently won two more awards at the 2023 San Diego Fair including the "People's Choice Award" for his famous Acrylic Marinas. The artist Jaime Camacho skillfully works with a wide variety of subjects, all techniques: Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic, Pastel and even sensual bronze sculptures.
