Ginger Lou is a Coronado-based mixed media artist, jewelry designer, and fashion creator whose work honors the natural world and California’s rich coastal heritage. Her one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces feature ancient abalone shell fragments (collected by Indigenous communities between 500–3,000 years ago) preserved in UV resin and paired with seaweed, sand, rose petals, and semi-precious stones. She also designs custom made to order boutique and spa wear using her California nature photography as well as her mixed media art, blending artistry with sustainability. Each creation reflects her intuitive, symbolic style and deep connection to the land and sea.

Ginger’s art, clothing, and jewelry are available online and in select boutiques across California. She regularly exhibits at events such as Art in the Park in Coronado and contributes to exhibitions that support cultural preservation. A portion of proceeds from her jewelry is donated to California Indigenous communities.
