“St. Paul de Vence” receives credit from 2 artists, the canvas by Jewish Master Painter Theo Tobiasse and the frame by artist Karl Wissing commissioned by the Coopriders to complement the artwork. The village of “St. Paul de Vence” hosted another artist Marc Chagall. He and Tobiasse had their home/studios there. Patti and Coop, in 1979, visited the home/studio of both artists about a mile apart. Patti even had her picture with Marc Chagall and corresponded for 20 years with Vava, his 2nd wife. The Coopriders continued to acquire Tobiasse oil paintings from Galerie Fererro in Nice and lithographs from Dr. Jawdat Naffouj in Landstuhl, Germany.
