I had this piece on display in street gallery fashion on Bogart in Bushwick a couple years ago. A guy came by and stood in front in silence for a bit. I asked him what he was thinking. He remarked, "Reminds me of my mother." It was an obvious bittersweet moment for him. His mom passed not long before. Still the piece made him happy and he thanked me for making it available to be viewed. I'm forever grateful for these types of experiences with strangers. Art is Life.
