Pine and Fir

Walking the hillside on a summer day, the dog and I were dive-bombed by hawks that were nesting nearby. They were relentless in their mission to chase us from their immediate territory, but before we vacated their space, I snapped a photo of the light bathing cured grasses and sage around the pine and fir of their neighborhood.
