Yarrington explored all aspects of the geography and geology of the area the last “green valley” around Quinebaug Valley Community College, paying particular attention to the earth, water, air, and light, especially during seasonal shifts (2005–2006). Photographs taken during this time evidenced my immersion and response to the site and the community. Housed in the bridge of glass, these transparent images are activated each day by sunlight and by artificial light in the evening, rekindling anew for the passerby the presence and wonder of the original journey.
